Climate change, also called global warming, refers to the rise in average surface temperatures on Earth. Due to these changes, a number of species of plants and animals have gone extinct and the environment have lost its natural features. On this premise that The Fountain Schools show cased a project in the RCE Ogun 2nd climate change convention and biodiversity conservation workshop. The project emphasized on the extraction of used plastic bottles (pet) from the environment to create a GREEN HOUSE, where plants are nurtured in nursery and transplanted to reduce deforestation and desertification thereby providing a cleaner and healthier environment. In this convention six(6) schools participated and at the end of the competition, The Fountain Schools came first position with a prize award. We can therefore say that' waste generated can also generate wealth' Remember the three RRR's ; Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. Thank YOU JESUS! Congratulations The Fountain Schools.
